Obituary

Virginia C. Nibler "Gini" passed away July 3, 2018 in Yuma, AZ. She was born June 3, 1932 in Lewiston, ID to Richard Henry Campbell and Helen Aurelia Babinski. Gini graduated from Pullman High School, Sacred Heart School of Nursing, and Gonzaga University. She married Lloyd J. Nibler and they had five children, but divorced after 18 years. Gini loved to sew and made all of her daughter's ballet costumes. She was an avid reader, loved to dance, and traveled extensively, especially in China. She was one of the first certified hospice nurses in Washington state. She helped write the national hospice protocol for Kimberly Care. She also taught classes for families on Death and Dying. Her favorite nursing job was working at the free clinic in Spokane with Dr. Bolton. Gini taught nursing for 19 years at Spokane Community College before retiring at age 79. She married her traveling and dancing partner, Dennis Prindiville after being together for over 25 years. They moved to Yuma, AZ in 2013 where they had snow birded for years. Although not of the computer generation, she loved following her grandchildren on Facebook nightly with her glass of Riesling wine. Gini was a devout Catholic and taught CCD at St. Francis of Assisi in Spokane for years. She volunteered as camp nurse at Camp Lourdes in Nelson, B.C. She was a member of the women's guild at St. Francis giving fashion shows for the Order of the Poor Clares. Gini was also an avid Gonzaga Basketball fan and never missed a game on TV, even as her sight failed her.
Gini is survived by her children, Cyndie (Nibler) and Tom Davidson of Yuma, AZ, Julie (Nibler) and Doug Moy of Boise, ID, Brian Nibler of Newman Lake, WA, and Todd and Sara Nibler of Moscow, ID; stepson, Mike Prindiville of Deer Park, WA; grandchildren, Keitha Edler, Shannon Clark, Craig Davidson, Kristoffer Davidson, Kameko Coburn, KeAnna Keo, Koji Moy, Kenslee Moy, Chynna Nibler, Colton Nibler, Cali Nibler, Genesea Nibler, Joseph Nibler and Beatrix Nibler; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful Yorkie companion, Suzi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Nibler; son, Gregg L. Nibler (Johan Morgan); husband, Dennis Prindiville; parents; and siblings, Evelyn Copeland, Marlene Campbell, Jimmy Campbell, and Sylvia Brown.
