Obituary

Shirley Joan Bauder passed away at home on August 16, 2016. Shirley was born on July 31, 1939 in Mobridge, South Dakota to Otto A. Schneider (RIP) and Lydia Stoecker (RIP). She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bauder and Donald Schneider, brother. She is survived by David Bauder (Karen Bauder), son; Brenda Muse, Carol Hartz (Robert Hartz), Annette Bauder, daughters; Norman Schneider, brother; Virginia Hinsz, Donna Rayburn, Marilyn Aadland, sisters; Amber Mondy and Brandy Shillingstad, grandchildren; Carson Mondy, Cayley Mondy, Jasper Shillingstad, and Jetsen Shillingstad, great grandchildren.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ in McLaughlin, South Dakota.


Services are currently pending.
Private cremation is entrusted to All Saints Cremation and Memorial Chapel

God Saw She Was Getting Tired

God saw she was getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around her
And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
And saw her fade away,
Although we loved her dearly
We could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
