Obituary

Our very special mother, Nora M. Hall, passed away in the early morning hours of June 20, 2023. She was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Eldorado, Texas.

Mom loved that her main job was a homemaker and raising her family. She worked at the hospital in Lone Pine, CA., and took side jobs of ironing, cleaning homes. After moving to Yuma, she worked at Hillhaven Healthcare Center as the cook and finished her career as the dietary supervisor.

Mom had a way of making all her children and grandchildren feel special. And, she loved her son-in-law's like they were her own. Her home was the meeting place for all the family gatherings. Mom enjoyed cooking and preparing meals every day and during holidays. She was known for her three-layer carrot cake, banana pudding, homemade biscuits and gravy, soups and much more! Some of her grand kids have made her recipes as their own.

Our loving mom is preceded in death by her husband J.D. of 71 years and her only son Tobby; siblings Mildred "Mickie," Odessa, Lavina, Mary Ann and Floyd. She is survived by her six daughters Janet Bowling, (daughter-in-Law Debbie Hall), Colleen Pedroza (Scott Rico), Theda (Eddie) Hernandez, Rhonda (Louie) Garcia, Arlene (David) Fornof and Judy (Dave) Martnick; sister Shirley Croslin, and brother Richard Ruminer.

Together, our parents celebrated having 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

This is not goodbye, we'll see you later.
