LARRY LOUIS LOCKWOOD

Larry Louis Lockwood, age 90, was born in Dodge City, Kansas to Louis and Virginia Lockwood.  He is survived by his spouse, Zoraida Lockwood, and children and their spouses Karen and Scott of Overland Park KS, Janalee and Mark of Kinsley KS, Jeff and Janet of St. Louis MO, Justin and Rhonda of Kinsley KS, Leslie Lockwood of Redlands CA, Travis of Kinsley KS, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Larry was a 1953 graduate of Kinsley High School and attended college classes in Dodge City KS, Hutchinson KS and Riverside CA.  He also taught classes at Riverside City College.

He had a summer home in Kinsley KS and a winter home in Wellton AZ.  He passed peacefully at his home in Wellton.  Larry lived a very varied life with family ties in California where he spent his early days with Grandpa Charlie, cousins, aunts and uncles in Monrovia and Arcadia.

Larry grew up farming with his father.  Later in life, he was a licensed real estate broker in California.  Larry loved to buy properties, and a favorite pastime was remodeling homes.

Larry enlisted in the Army at age 19 and was stationed in Korea during the Korean War.

Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  His memory will live on in our thoughts.

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
