Connie Lynn Marquis (Thomas), 68, of Yuma, passed away on May 05, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 26, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Connie attended Kofa High School. She dedicated her life to serving others as a Rehabilitation Counselor, working closely with the Navajo and Quechan tribes. Connie made everyone feel like family, welcoming her children's friends as her own with open arms, a quick joke, and a heart full of love. Known for her humor and silliness, she brought light and laughter into every room she entered.

Connie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce "Danny" and Joyce Guinn, her daughter, Danielle M Marquis. Grandchildren, Dustin Shooter, Breanna (Nate) Brittenfield, and Clarissa Guinn. Sister, Wanda Shepard, brother Larry Thomas and brother and sister-in-law Dale and Debra Thomas. She also has many nieces, nephews and cousins, who she loved very much.

Connie is preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray Guinn, her parents Garner Ray Thomas Sr and Betty June Thomas, her sister Cathy Thomas and her brother Grarner Ray Thomas Jr.

A celebration of Connie's life will be held at Wetlands Park on May 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and share in honoring her beautiful spirit.
